| The Rob Noxious Retro Radio Show | Doing my darnedest to keep it Retro! | 7 |
Greetings, groovers! I am very grateful to The Source 96.1FM for giving me my big break in broadcasting. I have dreamed about being a DJ for years - in fact, I sometimes write about it on the Rob Noxious blog entitled 'In Dreams'(>radiobinfieldfm247.blogspot.com), but there is no substitute for getting behind the mic and talking to all my ten listeners out there for real. Like my great hero Tony Sideburns used to say, you've got to think that you're talking to just that one listener out there to keep it all cosy and intimate. Well, I'm blessed having the ten of you out there and I'll be doing my darnedest to keep it Retro for you guys for as long as you keep tuning in. Keep it Retro! :D
I would get this novel made into a film > http://www.amazon.co.uk/FM247-Radio-Binfield-Rob-Spooner/dp/1409283402
... that I am one of the few Southend United fans living out here in the wild West!
The first record I owned was 'Sugar Sugar' by The Archies, but the first record that I bought was 'Coz I Luv You' by Slade.
