This is a show telling the tale of a load of ne’er-do-well little herberts ; the music they listened to, the bands they saw, the venues they went to, the scooters they rode and the clothes they wore. All told by the grown up, pillars of our community who still get a glint in their eyes when they talk about Lambrettas, Mods, Soul Music or the band they saw at the pavilions in 1968.
Musically the show will cover anything from Cotton Field Blues to Jazz, Gospel, Mod, Rhythm and Blues, Garage Punk, Ska, New Wave, Funk, Rock, Psych, Revival Mod, Soul and Northern, Two-Tone, Indie, Folk, Brit-Pop even Big Beat, Hip Hop and Dance.
Dave Garwood trawls through his record collection and is joined in the studio by a host of special guests to tell the story of Cool Kernow!
