Jazz Train Live - 10th November 2025
Now in its sixth season, Jazz Train Live has fully established itself as a regular date in the annual Source FM calendar. With shows at The Princess Pavilions Falmouth during both April and November, 2025 witnessed another excellent couple of jazz evenings, showcasing much of the local talent living and working in Cornwall.

Regularly hosted by the Simon Latarche quartet comprising of Sam Norman (Bass) and Keith Marshall (Drums), Mike Rowlands (saxophones) along with Simon at the piano, the evenings are compared by both Simon and fellow JT presenter Andy Coote. The sound is always of top-quality thanks in no small part to the understated talent and ‘no fuss’ approach of Carey Davies along with excellent production of Simon Neild. Founder of the show, presenter Paddy Haughton, is always on hand to keep a keen eye on proceedings whilst fellow ‘train driver’ David Weaver is another regular attendee. JTL is very much a team production and much of its success is due to the support of many from the Source family including Steve Gruitt, JB Brown and Helen Read.
This year has witnessed performances from (in no particular order), Neil Armstrong (Trumpet), Mike Higgs (Trombone), Georgia D’Arcy (Vocal), Helen White (Violin and Vocal) and The Karnos Brass Band. Simon assures us that there are more artists signed up and ready to appear in future shows too.
Whilst shining a most positive light on our lovely station within the community, JTL has to date raised something in the region of £500 towards the Re-Source project and will hopefully continue to add to these funds in the future.
Jazz Train live will return in 2026.
