Biography
I was born in London but moved to Cornwall in 1992 after training and working as a nurse for most of my career. I loved Cornwall from the moment I set foot here and still love living near Falmouth. I had a very serious car accident in 1998 when I was working at Treliske and this stopped me working as a hands-on nurse although I continued as a Nurse Adviser for NHS Direct and the GP Out-of-Hours service in Truro. I got involved with community radio through volunteering for MIND and heard that a new show discussing mental health issues was to be aired (A Space to Speak Your Mind).
