I am an oceanographer currently studying what happens to carbon once it enters the ocean from the atmosphere. My work has taken me from sleeping in a tent in the Arctic to study melting sea ice using drones, to spending weeks at sea off the coast of South America - although I also spend plenty of time at my desk! I love science, but I am just as excited about communication, connection, and music.
