I arrived in the UK five years ago when I retired, following my British wife. I actually met her in Falmouth. I'm Breton, so a Celtic cousin from Cornwall.

I worked for 40 years in a shipyard in Brittany, and this job allowed me to travel to various countries; I ended, by the way, my career in Brazil. Passionate about music and coming from a family of musicians, I started singing sea shanties as a teenager and I'm still part of a group that I regularly join in Brittany and other countries, and of course in Falmouth, as we're lucky enough to play there every year. Now that I'm retired and have some free time, I accepted Cécile's offer to fill in for her on this show. I hope you'll enjoy my musical tastes and the Breton sea breeze.
