SourceFM is on the move.
The studios at Tregenver will close on 23rd May and we will be moving to a temporary set up within the Park Lodge. Moving and setting up equipment will mean that we are off air for the weekend of 24th/25th May. Our emergency FM transmission should kick in during that time, preserving our 96.1fm frequency. Our online feeds will cease. We hope to be fully back on air with a reduced service in the week of 26th May for up to a month. We plan to have live Breakfast Shows, 7am – 9am each weekday and many other programmes will be prerecorded close to transmission.
During that month, we will be installing and testing equipment at the Park Lodge and beginning to use the recording studio and podcast booth on a community hire basis.
We apologise to our listeners and to those who join us for shows. Once we are over this transition period, we will have new equipment and better, more spacious premises. We will also be able to offer more services for podcasters, bands and recording artistes, as well as community groups. Our prospectus for this will appear on our website soon.
We thank those businesses, organisations and individuals who have supported us, some for many years. We will need to find funding in order to improve our offer and to step up to the costs of running our business.
Contact us on 01326 219020 and leave us a message or email studio@thesourcefm.co.uk and we will get back to you. Please allow us a few days as we settle in to our new home.
